Xylomark only works if both sides of the table play fair. These are non-negotiable.
Every candidate who submits to your challenge must receive a decision within 14 days. Ghost someone? Your Culture Score drops publicly. Repeat offenders lose posting access.
All challenge posts must include a real salary range before going live. No "DOE" or "competitive." Candidates deserve to know what they're working toward.
Challenges must be scoped to 4 hours of unpaid work maximum. We review every challenge before publishing. Anything beyond 4 hours becomes a paid engagement.

The challenge fee ($699 free / $549 Studio / $299 Flagship) is per challenge posted — regardless of whether you hire. If you do make a hire through the challenge, a separate one-time success fee applies (8% / 5% / 3% of first-year salary depending on your plan). If you don't hire anyone, you only pay the posting fee.
Anything beyond 4 hours becomes a paid contract engagement through Xylomark. We'll help you structure a short paid project with the candidate. This keeps the relationship fair and protects your reputation on the platform.
No — and that's the point. During the evaluation phase, you only see the submission. Once you've ranked your top picks, you can reveal identities and browse their full artifact portfolios and verification history. This prevents unconscious bias from affecting your shortlist.
Your Culture Score drops publicly, and a ghosting incident is noted on your employer profile. All Xylomark members can see this. Repeat violations result in a posting suspension. We take this seriously because candidates deserve to know the outcome of their work.
No. All challenge submissions remain the property of the candidate unless you enter into a separate paid agreement. This is part of the platform's terms. It ensures candidates can freely participate knowing their work won't be used without compensation.
Enterprise plans include integrations with Greenhouse and Lever, with more ATS platforms coming. For Studio and Flagship customers, we provide CSV export of submissions and candidate data for manual import.
